Retreading Challenges Ever Present
The decision follows a period of significant restructuring efforts. In mid-2025, the Local Court of Ulm ordered the provisional insolvency administration of NeroForce GmbH’s assets, appointing Georg Jakob Stemshorn of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as the provisional administrator. Stemshorn and Müller worked to identify a new investor to stabilise the company, which had faced liquidity difficulties due to intense market competition and rising imports of low-cost tyres. Although the company continued to trade during the proceedings, a sustainable long-term solution was not reached.
Müller recently communicated the final decision after a period during which the company tried to redress the balance. In a statement addressed to business partners, Müller emphasised the importance of transparency and open communication regarding the closure: “This decision was not taken lightly. Transparency and open communication are very important to us.”
As part of the wind-down process, NeroForce is currently clearing its remaining inventory. All products, including its range of high-performance tools, are being offered at reduced prices via the company website while supplies last.
Müller expressed gratitude to the industry for its support throughout the company’s history, noting that the journey would not have been possible without the trust of its long-standing business partners: “Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your long-standing partnership, trust, and support. Without you, our business partners, this journey would not have been possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
