The 2025 Future of Retreading and Recycling Conference will take place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, 22 May, during the Autopromotec Exhibition in Bologna, Italy. Retreading Business Publisher David Wilson will host the conference, which is free to attend and will be located in the Gallery Area between Halls 1 and 2 at the Bologna Fairground. Attendees for the first time will also have the opportunity to purchase content packages from Retreading Business.
About the Conference
Several industry experts from around Europe will participate in this year’s conference at Autopromotec, including Stefano Carloni, President of AIRP, who will give a welcome address.
The conference then continues with a retreading panel, consisting of key people from the retreading sector, including Vittorio Marangoni (Marangoni), Stefan Mayrhofer (Kraiburg Austria), Frederico Schmidt (Vipal Rubber) and Michael Schwaemmlein (BIPAVER), who will participate in a discussion on topical subjects relevant to the European and global tyre retreading sectors.
After that, Giuseppina Carnimeo, the CEO of Italian EPR Agency, Ecopneus, will discuss the EPR schemes and their role in sustainable tyre recycling, focusing on Ecopneus and its results/activities. Last but not least, Arthur Wagner from French tyre sorting technology experts REGOM, will focus on the company’s latest developments, including the use of RFID in the handling of End-of-Life-Tyres.
The Future of Retreading and Recycling Conference concludes at 5:00 PM, followed by a welcome cocktail and the 2025 Recircle Awards ceremony.
