A Decorated Career in an Industry he Loved.
Michael was a revered figure in the tyre retreading and repair industry and devoted his life to a business he loved. As the CEO of Community Tire in St. Louis, a company founded by his father, Michael carried on a proud family legacy that will continue through his son’s work within the company.
His commitment to excellence was evident in his successful stewardship of Community Tire and his active participation in industry associations. He was a respected leader, serving as President of the St. Louis Tire Dealers Association and the Missouri Tire Dealers Association, roles in which he advocated tirelessly for the advancement of his peers and the industry at large. From 1993 to 1995, he took his commitment to a national level as President of the American Retreaders Association, where he was instrumental in promoting sustainable practices and innovations in tyre retreading.
Michael’s legacy is not only in the tyre industry he helped shape but also in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a friend to all. He will be dearly missed.
