The Tire Cologne - Product Review Sessions

The first edition of The Tire Cologne provided a significant opportunity for Retreading Business in that, together with our sister magazine, Tyre & Rubber Recycling, we were offered the opportunity to organise and host the first Tyre Recycling Forum.

As part of this event, we decided to give exhibitors from the retreading industry the opportunity to present their company and their latest products in a series of ten-minute presentations, a format, which we intend to repeat at future shows.

Ten companies took up the opportunity to make presentations.

Akar Makina, who presented the key features of their AKR 550 Cushion Gum Extruder/Builder

B&J Rocket, who presented the benefits of their Airbot and Unit Wheel Air grinding tools.

Cima Impianti introduced the audience to the Italian company’s full range of retreading equipment and accessories

Vipal focused on his company’s Eco-Friendly product ranges, namely the benefits of the company’s ECO Treads as well as Vulk Acqua Solution and Vulk Tyre Paint.

VMI who introduced VMI’s range of retreading equipment

Galgo elected to introduce the company’s corporate video.

Lukatec presented the company’s modular concept for retreading machinery, mainly buffing and building equipment.

Robbins introduced the Robbins Accu-Fit Sealing Ring system

TRM presented a company profile

Bandamatic (Hules Banda) also gave an overview of the company's operations
