Mexican tread rubber manufacturer GALGO is celebrating its 70th anniversary throughout the month of August.

The new Extended Producer Responsibility for Waste Tyre Policy, published on July 23 by India’s Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change has provided a massive boost for India’s retreading industry by including retreading as an integral part of the Policy, thereby recognising retreaders as an essential part of the waste tyre management system.

The WTR [Winter Trailer Regional] precured tread is GALGO’s newest addition to their growing super single line. The WTR is ideal for secondary roads and steep hills. It has six divided ribs and wings and delivers lower rolling resistance. Currently available is the 116WTR17 (300 mm) 17/32”.

VM Rubber has recently announced its participation in the Bauma 2022 exhibition.

Vaculug has announced that it has appointed Glenn Sherwood to its main board as Chief Growth Officer. Sherwood will be responsible for Vaculug’s new growth initiatives both on the fleet side as well as the technology and product side of the business.
