Oliver Rubber Adds New Jersey Retread Plant

Oliver Rubber has the opening of a new Service Tire Truck Centers Inc. (STTC) retread facility in Millville, N.J. This facility will increase Oliver Rubber’s capacity to service the southern New Jersey/Pennsylvania market with retreading and related services.

“STTC has a long track record of helping commercial truck owner/operators minimize downtime and control costs while keeping their vehicles running at peak performance, an approach that aligns well with the Oliver brand,” said Scott Murray, vice president and director of sales, Oliver Rubber Company, LLC. “We are excited about STTC joining the Oliver family.”

STTC is currently a Michelin truck and earthmover tire dealer. With the addition of Oliver retread products, STTC will expand its portfolio of commercial products and services. This addition will focus on intermodal business and Oliver offers an excellent product mix and process to compete in this fleet segment.

“With the addition of the Oliver product line, STTC is positioned to provide the right tread for any type of customer or government entity,” said Walter J. Dealtrey, chairman, Service Tire Truck Centers, Inc. “Intermodal companies realise the importance of having quality retreads to minimise their tyre-related downtime. For us, Oliver will fill that need.”
