Tipler has announced that it has joined the Maio Amarelo (Yellow May)movement, an initiative between the Brazilan government and civil society, which aims to improve traffic safety. Maio Amarelo encourages activities that draw attention to the high number of deaths and injuries in accidents all over the world, calling for discussions about responsibilities and risk assessments on the behavior of every citizen in traffic.

Tipler Sign Up to Maio Amarelo Movement

Tipler’s contribution will take place on two fronts. The first has been developed by the company over its four decades of integration in the market, through the creation of safer and more efficient products.

“Our RT74 and RT51 treads have strong classification both in terms of wet braking and rolling resistance, significantly reducing the risk of accidents on the roads,” said the Commercial Manager of Tipler, Fabiano Fratta.

In addition, Tipler is integrating Maio Amarelo with educational activities such as training in safe driving, the prevention of traffic accidents and vehicle/tyre maintenance. “The concern for safety on the roads is in the DNA of Tipler. It is part of our daily work, and this has motivated us to adhere to Maio Amarelo,” said Fratta.
