Newera Equipment, the Malaysia and Singapore based retreading machinery distributor, has celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Newera Celebrate 50 Years in the Retreading Business
The company, which over the years has become the most prominent retreading equipment supplier in South East Asia, is a family-owned business, which supplies a full range of retreading equipment including complete turnkey project incorporating shearography tyre test systems, tyre inspection, buffing, cementing, building, curing chambers and a full range of accessories.
The Group also supplies equipment to the new tyre sector in SEA and China as well as wheel servicing equipment to tyre distribution trade, the latter mainly in Singapore. The Group operates a large number of subsidiaries. However, the retread market across Asia is serviced by the Singapore based Newera Equipment Pte Ltd. Meanwhile, sales in Malaysia come under the control of Newera Equipment Supply Sdn Bhd, based in Petaling Jaya, whilst the China market, will in the future be serviced by the newly founded Newera International Wuxi Ltd, which was established in January 2018.
Newera has long-term agency arrangements with a number of key suppliers to the retread market, most notably Matteuzzi, B&J, MAE, SDS, Ferlex and VMI.
