Lukatec Achieves Record First Quarter Sales

Lukatec

Lukatec, the São Leopoldo, Brazil based manufacturer of retreading equipment, has reported that it has had the best first quarter of its history, with sales growing 71% over the same period last year.

Lukatec Success with Retreader Networks

The success, say the company, is due to successful business with the main networks of tyre retreaders in Brazil, such as Bandag, Michelin, Tipler and Vipal.

"The steady growth in recent years reinforces Lukatec's position as a technology leader within the industry, and we believe that this leadership is a result of the innovations presented by the company in recent years, commented Lucas Möller, director of Lukatec. “Today we are synonymous with state-of-the-art technology, robustness and excellent results delivery,” he added.

According to Möller, another factor that drives sales are the homologations of the main manufacturers. "Because Lukatec is an independent manufacturer, we have managed to gain business with retreaders from all networks. We are constantly innovating and, for the next few months, we are preparing a number of new product developments."
