Berwin Wins Queens Award

Lydney, UK-based Berwin Industrial Products, part of the Hexpol Group, have announced that they have won a Queens Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the UK aimed at rewarding export success.

Berwin products are sold internationally with key export markets in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Poland. Overseas sales have grown by 102% over the last three years. The company wins the Queen’s Award for International Trade for Outstanding Short-Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years. The company is active in the development and production of high-quality rubber compounds and as such have been awarded centre of excellence within Hexpol covering Europe and Asia for all products covering tyres, retreading, matting and conveyor belting.

Clive Rickards, the company’s Sales & Marketing Director commented; “We are over the moon to have won a Queens Award for International Trade 2020; its recognition for all the hard work put in at all levels within the company to enable its continued growth internationally as well as within its home market”.
