Norauto Promotes Retreaded Tyres with Black Star

As of October 20, 2020, Norauto will be offering retreaded tyres in partnership with Black Star, the specialist in 4x4 tyre retreading.

Black Star Increases Distribution in France

The Mobivia Group-owned retail chain, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, will be offering retreaded tyres, in around twenty centres in the Paris Sud region of France and on its website, an approach which it says is in line with its commitments in terms of sustainable development and the circular economy.

Black Star, a French company located in Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf in the Loire region, is recognised for its expertise in retreading tyres passenger vehicles, 4x4 and utility vehicles. Created in 1979 by Alain Rosier, it was taken over in early 2019 by Jean-Baptiste Pieret.

Today, around 90,000 retreaded tyres leave the Saint-Pierre-de-Boeuf plant each year. It has an annual capacity of 310,000 units and generates sales of around 4 million euros.
