Retreading Business will be present at the Futurmotive Digital Expo and Conference organised by Autopromotec, which takes place on Thursday December 10.

Workshop Planned on Tyres, Retreading and the Circular Economy

Futurmotive by Autopromotec will take place in an interactive virtual environment where participants will be able to follow several speeches animated by international guests, followed by workshops to deal with issues in greater details, in which representatives of companies in the industry will meet.

Of key interest to the tyre retreading and recycling sectors will be a session on “How the Automotive Industry will benefit from EU Guidelines on the Circular Economy. Scheduled for 12.00 noon European time this session features a keynote speech by Laura D’Aprile, General Director of Circular Economy for the Italian Environment Ministry. This will be backed up by a presentation by Guido Gambassi, AIRP Deputy Secretary.

This session will be followed at 12.20 by a workshop session entitled “Case Histories on Circular Economy in the Tyre and Retreaded Tyre Business.” This workshop will be led by Marc Aguettaz, Managing Director GiPA, who will be joined by Stefano Carloni, AIRP President, Enrico Moncada, Sales Director Continental Italia, Marco Prosdocimi, Retail Director for Goodyear, Francesco Capurso, Sales Manager Truck Tyres Europe for Marangoni, and Silvia Vergani, Marketing Manager B2B for Michelin Italia.

Before and after the Circular Economy session, attendees can visit the virtual stands of the show exhibitors, including Retreading Business and Tyre & Rubber Recycling’s own virtual stand, where we will be available to talk about all things relating to tyre retreading and recycling. We will also have available our Recircle Awards Nominations Video, which will be able to be viewed by visitors to our virtual stand.
