Retreading Business Continues to Connect During Covid-19 Crisis

Staying Connected

For all of us the world has changed significantly over the course of the last few weeks. Few of us could have imaged the scale of the upheaval that Covid-19 has caused to our way of life and our businesses.

Increased Digital Support for Retreading Sector

Suppliers to the retreading industry, for the time being, have been approaching the crisis with stoicism. The talk so far has largely been of factories remaining open, deliveries continuing unabated, and of after-sales and technical departments continuing to serve their customers.

But with retreading plants beginning to announce temporary closure and with fewer vehicles on the roads, the future is uncertain. There is bound to be an effect on the tyre market. There will no doubt be difficulties for the retreading industry and its suppliers over the coming months, and maybe, just maybe, a few opportunities too.

In unprecedented times like these, the role of the specialist press becomes ever more important. At a time when sales trips are being curtailed, and trade exhibitions being cancelled, Retreading Business is aware of the vital role it can play in keeping the global retreading sector connected.

With that in mind, during the coming weeks we will be increasing our digital presence with an increased number of e-newsletters and blog posts, and well as a number of specific support actions designed to help our regular advertisers reach their customers and potential customers more effectively. These will be announced in due course.

In the meantime, our regular print magazine will continue to be published as normal. Indeed, we will be carrying a special feature on the impact of Coronavirus in the next issue of Retreading Business.

Whatever the coming months have in store for our sector, you can be assured that Retreading Business will be here for you, keeping the retreading world connected.
