SLTC Announces New Recycling Committee

The Sociedad Latinoamericana de Tecnología del Caucho has revealed its new Recycling Committee that has the objective of promoting and developing activities in the tyre recycling sector related to projects, broadcasts, training, conferences and workshops.

New Committee Dedicated to Tyre Recycling

In an official communication the SLTC stated: “The Recycling Committee was born from the need to find a space where all actors related to tyre recycling in Latin America can actively interact.”

This new committee is made up of over 30 professionals who will be working in 7 subcommittees. Emanuel Bertalot, its director will be in charge of coordinating and overseeing the work of all the members of the Recycling Committee.

There are 7 subcommittees that will be inaugurated in this period 2020-2021: tyre retreading, rubber asphalt, pyrolysis, management systems, co-processing, legislation and research and development.

The committee depends on the experience and knowledge of professionals from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa RicaEcuador, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.
