Tyres & Accessories Mourns Founder Klaus Haddenbrock

Klaus Haddenbrock

The UK-based trade magazine Tyre & Accessories has reported that owner and publisher Klaus Haddenbrock has passed away at the age of 77.

German Publisher with Key Influence on Tyre Industry Journalism

Haddenbrock, who founded the German trade magazine Neue Reifenzeitung in 1981 and acquired Tyres and Accessories from previous owner, George Marshall, six years later, died suddenly on August 25.

Nobody can deny that Haddenbrock has had a key influence on journalism within the European tyre industry over the past forty years. With the foundation of Neue Reifenzeitung he challenged Gummibereifung, the traditional leading trade title in the German market, creating a worthy competitor, as well as bringing Tyres & Accessories into the modern age. More recently, he established PneusNews in Italy.

We send our condolences to his family and his colleagues.
