TTS Founder Bob Collins Passes Away

Truck Tyre Specialists, the Weston super Mare-based retreader has announced that Bob Collins, one of the company’s founders, passed away on Sunday 6 June, aged 79, after a battle with cancer.

UK Retreader Mourns Founder

Collins founded TTS in 1974 with his business partner Phil Binning and was a well-known, respected and knowledgeable tyre professional even after his retirement. He had great pride, not only in TTS, but in the retreading industry in general and was a strong advocate of the UK retreading sector for many years. He retired some year ago but was a regular visitor to the company’s offices during his retirement.

Bob leaves a wife, Helen and children Dan and Lizzie to whom we send our sincere condolences.
