Fire at KRAIBURG Austria has Only Minor Impact

Geretsberg

A technical defect caused a fire in the curing department at KRAIBURG Austria last night at the company’s Geretsberg site in Upper Austria.

Curing Department Affected

The extent of the damage was limited to the location of the outbreak thanks to the rapid intervention of the staff and the fire brigade. Fortunately, no one was harmed. At no point was there any danger to residents or the environment.

One of two presses for the production of pre-cured treads was affected by the fire, and as a result the company says in this area there may be delays in delivery for some products. In these cases KRAIBURG it will actively inform the customers concerned about possibly shifting delivery dates. The entire product range outside of the vulcanised tread range is not affected and continues to be available without restrictions and according to plan.
