Pomp’s Tire Service Acquires Dale’s Tire & Retreading

Green Bay, Wisconsin based Pomp’s Tire Service Inc. has announced the acquisition of Dale’s Tire & Retreading Inc., which operates three Bandag retread plants, including two in Rapid City, South Dakota, and the other in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Expansion of Retreading Network for Pomp's Tire Service

Founded in 1962, Dale’s Tire & Retreading is a third-generation, family-owned business, operating a consumer tyre division, a commercial tyre division and a retreading division. The company also has a wholesale division.

Pomp’s, also a Bandag retreader is the fifth largest retreader in the United States, operating a total of sixteen retread plants prior to the latest acquisition.
