Formula Truck on Retreads in 2022

Brazilian tread rubber manufacturer Silvercap has reported that the 2022 Formula Truck season in Brazil is set, for the first time, to be contested on trucks fitted with retreaded tyres. The proposal, says the company, has been made is to innovate and stimulate the fans as well as society in general to adopt more sustainable attitudes. 

Major Innovation for Brazilian Formula Truck Season

Silvercap, whose founder, João Carlos Paludo, represents more than 45 years of tradition in the rubber market, is the main sponsor of the Formula Truck series. With ten years in the market, the Silvercap brand is now present in 15 countries, supported by a network of accredited retreaders who operate with a high technical level.

In the latest season of the Formula Truck series, the President of Formula Truck, Gilberto Hidalgo, has introduced several important innovations. One of these is to support the teams by providing intelligent and safe solutions to make the category more sustainable. The use of retreaded tyres with Silvercap products is a demonstration of technical confidence and will guarantee a new experience for all drivers.
