Vaculug Grows its OTR Team

Vaculug is celebrating major growth in the off-the-road tyre sector with a new sales manager appointment and several contract wins with key clients in the waste and construction sectors.

Vaculug Celebrates Major Growth In OTR Sector

Over the last few years, Vaculug has been focusing its investments on people, processes and its ESG strategy. OTR is fast becoming a significant area of growth for Vaculug, and in preparation for further growth in Q4 and 2023, Vaculug welcomed Peter Roffey as OTR Sales Manager. Roffey has spent 25 years in the OTR tyre industry and brings with him a wealth of experience. Operations & OTR Director Mike Evans commented; “We are delighted to have Roffey join us during a period of successful growth. I’ve known Pete for many years, his technical knowledge and industry expertise will be key to our success, and we are honoured to have him as part of the family”.

Evans added; “We now have a market-leading team of OTR specialists consisting of three UK Sales Managers, a National Key Account Manager and a Head Operations & Logistics”. 

As well as manufacturing their own retread brands, Vaculug is exclusive UK distributor for long-standing partners such as Magna (15 years) and Yokohama (35 years), offering a full range of tyres suitable for any application our customers require. To strengthen its current portfolio, Vaculug will continue to target fleet growth in 2023 as it offers a total tyre management solution for all industry sectors. 

This year, Vaculug has also strengthened its offering by opening a regional distribution warehouse in the south of England, enabling them to distribute stock to customers and contractors. This gives Vaculug the ability to offer same-day or next-day delivery solution.
