Jodhpur, India based repair material manufacturer Blackstone Rubber has reported a surge in demand for repair patches in the domestic Indian market. On the back of the increase in demand, Blackstone says it has registered double digit- growth in the last fiscal period and is targeting improvements in the ongoing period.
“Blackstone Rubber patches offer value-for-money to independent retreaders and quality products to tyre users. Our sales during 2022-23 have grown over 12%, and we are confident of a brighter 2023-24,” assured Ankur Dhoot, Director, Sales & Marketing, Blackstone Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd.
Blackstone Rubber is in the midst of launching Cable Reinforced OTR Patches to solve the problems of rugged & expensive steel reinforced tyres. The product will be introduced in the market soon.
According to the company, the Indian retreading industry has grown over 10% during 2022-23, and the demand for tyre repair products, specially of patches also went up.
“The cost of new radial tyres has increased over 12%, the high prices of which will positively impact the repair/retreading industry. Tyre repairers are very particular in selecting only quality repair materials and prefer quality over price, which is positively impacting the sales of patches manufactured by Blackstone, said Dhoot.
