Leader Tread has introduced an updated version of its Diamond DFE premium trailer tread, which utilises Design for Efficiency (DFE) principles to refine the pattern’s geometry.
High Mileage Retreads
This update focuses on enhancing tyre wear, stability, and overall performance in daily operations. The five-rib, low-rolling-resistance design is engineered to provide high mileage while maintaining lower operating temperatures and improving fuel efficiency.
The modified Diamond DFE includes larger tread grooves for more effective water evacuation. It also features a solid shoulder and specialised wing technology designed to prevent severe scuffing, resulting in more consistent wear patterns and improved load distribution.
Technical specifications and applications for the range remain unchanged. The tread is available in 245W, 255W, and 265W sizes with a 13mm depth, as well as a 300W variant with a 12mm depth. The Diamond DFE remains suitable for long-haul, regional, city, and intercity applications, as well as on-road and off-road use.
