Sailun also produces rubber powders; There are altogether six kinds of rubber powder sold, 30 mesh, 40mesh, 50mesh, 60mesh, 70mesh and 80mesh, which are widely used in the chemical industry, light industry, construction and transportation fields.

Sailun Co.,Ltd., is a young company, established in late 2002. Located in the National Economic and Technological Development Zone in Qingdao, the company’s plant covers an area of about 400,000 square metres. Several well- known corporations and experts in the tyre industry helped to establish Sailun with technological support from the rubber industry and Qingdao University of Science and Technology.
Sailun says it is one of the first Chinese tyre manufacturers to integrate production, research and demonstration techniques, while developing its new products. Sailun also strives to become a benchmark company for the technical training of tyre staff in China.
To date, many experts in the tyre industry have come to Sailun to improve their tyre design theory, tyre design technique and test methods. The company has introduced BPSO design technology and three dimensional visualization design, which the company says has reduced its tyre design period and improved accuracy. Sailun co-operates with a number of academic institutions for assistance with information technology, construction techniques, tyre design and tyre testing. With the combination of research and production, Sailun provides experimental and research platforms for institutions, experts and suppliers. Partners include Zhejiang University, National University of Technical Defense and Qingdao University of Science and Technology.
