   Galgo Celebrates 60th Anniversary
 Galgo’s Tula plant in Mexico
This year Galgo celebrates sixty years of being at the heart of the retreading market. Today it is a multinational company that looks forward to increasing its presence worldwide. Each year the company has invested in technology and production capacity, growing to meet market demands, and has learned to adapt to the necessities of each individual market and develop products to comply with the new regulations and specifications of each sector of each country (environmental regulations, for example), without setting aside top quality standards.
Galgo’s Tula plant in Mexico During 2011 Galgo reinforced the organization working for the European market as well as continuing the long term strategy of improving the European product line-up. The company has increased its product range offering all rubber goods for the retreading process, and has a range of treads, that are designed for the European market. The company aims to always give the quickest and the best service to every customer and this gives it an advantage when compared with other suppliers.
Throughout the year, Galgo Europe is in constant communication with its headquarters in Mexico, talking about the needs of its customers and the different markets. And every year Galgo goes on developing new products and complementing the European line to become more successful in the market.
For example, in 2012 they will offer a new line of patterns: for bus and coach applications and super single applications, plus they will also introduce designs for OTR retreads.
Galgo says it will continue to strengthen its position due to its good quality/price/service ratio and will continue that original strategy started several years ago. This policy is based on a quick and professional customer service and is committed to a 100 per cent delivery fulfillment.
Galgo has also consolidated its long time participation in the USA market with an increased share of the market, adding some new designs for the bus and truck market as well as some new developments for the OTR segment.
Galgo has also introduced its
products in some new countries and with some new customers in Latin America has developed new patterns for those markets too. The main challenges for Galgo are the same as always; it needs to match production capacity to the growing demand for its products worldwide. It has to
