Both Lottridge and Jarman said they believe this partnership will continue to provide value to the industr y.
Vipal Opens Los Angeles Distribution Centre
Vipal is growing stronger in foreign markets. This growth in exports has most recently been witnessed by the opening of a new distribution centre in the city of Los Angeles, California. Vipal already has two other depots in the United States - one in Florida and another in Virginia, as well as a branch outlet. Now, with this new investment, it will have a structure with a capacity of 1,500 positions for pallets.
The Los Angeles centre, run by local partner JAS Forwarding (which also operates the Florida centre), will serve the entire West Coast of the United States, as well as some states in the middle of the country and the western and central regions of Canada. With this enable further growth in the world's largest market for retreaded tyres.
"Vipal has been in the United States for approximately 20 years, with its operation focused on the South and the East Coast, where 60 per cent of the country’s retreading market is concentrated, and also in eastern and southern Canada. We have built a strong name in this market and thus our products have become well known in the West," says
