VOLÁNBUSZ HUNGARY INVESTS IN NEW RINGER MACHINE LATEST NEWS As a long-standing Marangoni customer, Volánbusz Hungary has been successfully operating its retreading plant based in Győr, situated midway between Budapest and Vi- enna. In the 90s, the plant was equipped with a Multifunctional machine, which was later upgraded to the Ringtreader 1000 model. Now, the company is further advancing its retreading capabilities with the installation of a brand new RINGER 2000 machine, part of the cutting-edge range of machinery for Marangoni’s Ringtread System, character- ised by a modular approach and increased standardisation of components. Commenting on the news, Leo Linkesch, Area Manager at Marangoni, said: “The RINGER 2000 offers Volánbusz Hun- gary a host of advantages: compared to the RingTreader 1000 previously used, it provides more balanced ring arrange- ment on the casing, thanks to its ten jaws instead of eight.” Mr Tamás Kovács, Technical Plant Man- ager at Volánbusz, expressed his enthusi- asm for this significant upgrade, stating, “The RingTreader 1000 served us well for over two decades, but it’s time to em- brace modernity. With the new RINGER machine, we are stepping into a more sophisticated era of retreading. Our pri- mary goal is to further increase the quan- tity and quality of our RINGTREAD tyres production, particularly to cater to our extensive bus fleet, as we are the largest public passenger transport company in Hungary, operating around 6,000 buses nationwide.” TYRESOLES ECOMILES SALES REACH 100,000 MARK IN JUNE Mumbai, India based retreader Tyresoles has announced that its Ecomiles brand of retreaded tyres reached sales of 100,000 units in June. “We sold 4,000 Ecomiles tyres in the month of June this year, which is a kind of a record for us,” said Tyresoles Managing Director Karun Sanghi. “We introduced the Ecomiles brand in July 2019 and in June this year we celebrated the sale of the 100,000th Ecomiles tyre.” The Ecomiles brand is certified by Tyresoles and is offered with a one month replacement guarantee against casing separations. “We also offer a 2-year warranty on manufacturing defects and workmanship,” he added. Tyresoles has over seven-decades of retreading experience and operates three retreading sites in Western India with a cumulative production of in between 12,000 – 14,000 tyres each month. “We have a trained inspection team to select and buy casings from all over India. We use only first life casings for our Ecomiles tyres,” he added. Ecomiles tyres are sold through a dealer network consisting of 200 dealers located in Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh.
