Lifetime Achievement Award for the Tyre Recycling Sector was won by Jean- Paul Bouysset. During their presentation, the organisers thanked both Futuromotive and TyreXpo Asia for their support in hosting the award ceremonies as well as all sponsors, media partners and partner/collaborators inclu- ding Neusus Upcycling, who once again designed and manufactured the Recircle Awards trophies out of recycled crumb rubber from End-of-Life-Tyres and recy- cled copper. They also announced that the next edition of the Recircle Awards will take place du- ring late 2024 and early 2025, culminating in May 2025 at Autopromotec 2025 in Bologna. During the ceremony the presenters con- gratulated all the winners of the Recircle Awards, including those who were not able to make it to the ceremony, as well as all the shortlisted candidates. Following the Awards events, David Wil- son, Publisher of Retreading Business and Tyre & Rubber Recycling commented: cle Awards takes a great deal of prepara- tion and a lot of effort, but once again we are delighted with how the event was per- ceived by the industry and with the conti- nuously high level of engagement from the industry. More participants now unders- tand that to win a Recircle Award it is ne- cessary to have three things – a good rea- son why you deserve to win, an effective campaign to explain to the judges why you deserve to win, and a substantial effort to make sure the engagement of your su- pport network in the voting process.
