The Official Jury Statement noted that: “Tyre repurposing, helping to tread more light on the planet” [Sic]
REGOM provides AI-powered solutions for identifying and grading used tyres at an industrial speed of one tyre every three seconds. It is designed for tyre recyclers and has a huge potential for retreaders, its technology optimises sorting for reuse, resale, retreading, material recovery and pyrolysis. Traditionally, the tyre recycling sector has relied on manual inspection, with limited digital transformation. REGOM challenges this status quo with its AI-driven efficiency, increasing yields for reuse applications, extending tyre lifespan, reducing waste, and minimising environmental impact.
At the Berlin event, Bertrand Thoumsin, REGOM’s Sales Manager for the Europe Area, commented on the company’s journey and broader mission: “This waste doesn’t have any value if you don’t sort them. We provide all the sorting installations to give value to the waste.” His remarks underscore REGOM’s commitment to enabling a cleaner, more efficient, and traceable circular economy within the tyre sector.
This recognition marks a significant milestone in REGOM’s vision to revolutionise used tyre management and affirms its role in accelerating sustainable practices across the global tyre recycling industry.
