Our discussion was with Jacopo Brunelli, Sales Manager of TRM, who explained how the company is transitioning to act as a system partner to help operators cut costs and optimise efficiency across passenger, 4×4, truck, OTR, and aircraft tyre segments. He highlights their new robust 8-ton buffing machine, developed from the classic Giotto model, which automates everything from the lift to bead plate adjustments for both pre-cure and mould-cure lines. Jacopo also discusses their newly redesigned autoclave control system, thoroughly field-tested for a year and a half at the Marangoni retreading plant to manage singular envelopes with a new DPC and fan inverter for maximum energy efficiency.
