Tuf Treads has announced the acquisition of Red Dragon Retreading, bringing the two tyre retreading businesses together under a shared strategic vision.

Red Dragon Retreading has developed a strong reputation within the market, and its team will now become part of the expanding Tuf Treads group as the business continues to grow its operations in the retreading sector.
Nicki Duggins from Tuf Treads noted on her LinkedIn that the partnership will allow both companies to maintain the quality and service standards, while creating a stronger platform for future development. The transaction was supported by Redkite Solicitors, with particular thanks given to Sion Tudor and his team for their guidance and professionalism throughout the process.
Last year, Tuf Treads made a significant investment in a new, state-of-the-art Ringtread facility in Cross Hands, near Llanelli, which includes a 24-tyre autoclave from TRM, with a capacity of around 1,000 tyres a month.
Although production at Red Dragon won’t start again, the company will be supplied with Marangoni Retreads produced by Tuf Treads.
