Vipal, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of tyre retreading products for over fifty years, will be present at Autopromotec 2025, in Bologna, Italy. The event, held every two years, will bring together several companies from the automotive sector, including tyre manufacturers and service providers, between May 21st and 24th.
Celebrating innovations with Vipal
The event coincides with the celebration of Vipal’s 20 years of operations in Europe. The branch began its European operations in 2005, in the same year the company debuted at the fair, and has been known by the local public ever since.
During the fair, Vipal will have available a totem with informative tablets at its booth so that attendees can check information about the products on display, and will also display three tread patterns to visitors, the DV-UMe, the first tread made exclusively for electric vehicles; the VT570 – a tread developed to meet the specific demands of the EMEA market, featuring blocks designed to favour torque distribution and maximise mileage performance; and the VL110LA – a tread with wings that provide better finish on the side of the retreaded tyre, in addition to having grooves designed to minimise the retention of stones and objects, causing better water evasion in the rotational direction.
In parallel, information about machines will also be presented to the public, with focus on VR01 Smart DUO, whose rotating tower system guarantees greater productivity, being able to buff up to 35 tyres per hour, and on the VOC760, which guarantees the best application of cushion rubber in the tyre retreading process with the shortest execution time, optimising state-of-the-art automation components, reducing raw material consumption, and developing greater precision and consistency in the application of the material to the tyre.
According to Frederico Schmidt, General Manager of Vipal in Europe, Autopromotec will be an excellent opportunity for the company to stay up to date with innovations in the sector, exchange experiences with global leaders, and expand the knowledge shared with other companies at the stands. “Our participation in a trade fair as renowned as Autopromotec attests to the prestige we have acquired throughout the journey we have taken since opening the Vipal branch in Europe in 2005. Above all, it highlights the brand’s recognition among customers and the market, in addition to enabling dialogue on important future-oriented topics, such as sustainability and electromobility,” highlights Schmidt.
Vipal in the Running for Recircle Awards
During Autopromotec 2025, the winners of the Recircle Awards, a renowned international award in the automotive segment, will be announced.
This year, Vipal competes in four categories: Best Tread Rubber Supplier, Best Retreading Equipment Supplier, and Employee of the Year, with Leonardo Oliveira, Commercial Consultant for Vipal USA. Univipal – Vipal Corporate University was nominated in the Tyre Industry Education Award category and is also competing for the prize.
