ITRS Acquires Vulcan-Vulcap

International Tire Repair Solutions (ITRS), the Toronto based distributor of tyre repair materials, has announced the acquisition of Vulcan-Vulcap, the long-standing tyre repair and retread equipment manufacturer based in Scarborough, Ontario. Vulcan-Vulcap specialises in a range of heavy duty vulcanising equipment including section repair moulds, C clamps, spotters, retreading equipment and the Vulcaflex OTR system.

Commenting on the acquisition, ITRS CEO Gilles Wauthy said that the company’s aim was to be a leader in recycling through repair by providing the retread and OTR industry with “the safest certified and government-approved equipment to our customers.”

“The acquisition of Vulcan-Vulcap will give us the ability to control the products we provide and allow us to revolutionize the vulcanising industry with custom products and competitive pricing,” added ITRS vice president David Dandeneault.
