Vipal Closes 2012 with Series of Awards
There is little finer than being able to close the year with a series of positive commendations, especially when this comes on the eve of its 40th anniversary year, as is the case for Vipal. At the end of 2012, the company received the award of Biggest & Best, offered by OTM Publishing, for Best inTyre Retreading Industry and Petrochemicals. The award was presented in November 27th. to the national sales manager of Vipal, Guilherme Rizzotto, at an
event in Sao Paulo.
Vipal was also featured in the Best of the Year AGAD (Gaucho Association of Wholesalers and Distributors) for its brand recognition, on November 24th , in Porto Alegre and also received the Vision Award, sponsored by the Journal of Vision Agribusiness.

Vipal Seals 40th Anniversary
In 2013, Vipal completes 40 years of existence. The celebration, however, has already begun. The company is 100 per cent Brazilian; the leader in Brazil and in the Latin American market and one of the leading global manufacturers of products for tyre retreading and repairing, is releasing a commemorative seal for this anniversary.
The seal aims to reaffirm everyone of Vipal’s four decades of
development, making it a reference company in international markets. Today, Vipal has two factories in Nova Prata, Rio Grande do Sul, and in Feira de Santana, Bahia, totaling three thousand employees and about 160 acres of industrial park as well as three distribution centres in Brazil . It exports to 90 countries on all continents, and also has distribution centres in South America, North America and Europe. With a reputation built on its past, Vipal now has to look to the future. "It's time to design the future because we have a lot of road ahead and many other achievements to gain. Our responsibility is great: continuing to promote Brazil as a reference in the tyre retreading market "said General Director of Vipal, Daniel Paludo.
The embryo Group Vipal was formed in 1973 with the creation of Vipal, in Nova Prata, at the hands of the entrepreneur Vicencio Paludo, with the help of his son Arlindo. With the commitment of other siblings and their colleagues, the little plant for repairing materials for tyres and inner tubes would soon become one of the most important global manufacturers of tyre retreading materials. Now under the command of the third generation of the Paludo family, Vipal continues transforming Brazil into a benchmark in technology and innovation. "For 2013 we have many actions that will celebrate 40 years of Vipal and all will take the seal of optimism, responsibility, pioneering and innovation," concludes Paludo.
