Borex Buys Tipler Camelback Operation
With effect from December 2012, Borex has acquired the operations of Tipler’s Camelback Rubbers division. According to Rodrigo Farina, commercial manager of the brand positioning this investment reaffirms Borex as being able to present complete solutions to the retreading market. The growth of its economic
sectors, such as agribusiness, mining and construction, reinforced the decision.
With this acquisition, Borex has assumed the position of the second largest provider of hot retreading products for the industry in the Brazilian Market.

Caiado Tyre is the Latest Authorised Tipler Retreader
The Caiado Tyre Group, operating in Camp Grande (MS), Cuiabá (MT) and Presidente Prudente (SP);is the newest member of the Tipler Dealer Network, which now numbers more than 80 retreaders in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.

Schüssler S.A Invests
Schüssler SA with headquarters in Concepcion, southern Chile and subsidiaries in Antofagasta, Santiago, Talca and Puerto Montt, all in Chilean territory, continues to invest in equipment and improvements in its retreading facilities, as reported in Retreading Business in our first edition of 2012, when the company acquired a semi-automatic buffer, thus improving a ver y important sector of the retreading process.
Recently, it has just made another
large investment in equipment, this time a vulcanising press manufactured by the company Arcomáquinas of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The press will be used to produce 20.5R25 and 23.5R25 OTR tyres and also 23.1-26 forestry tyres. According to co-owner Sr.Claudio Zambrano, the company will continue to invest in technology and development, always striving
