Brazilian tread rubber manufacturer Silvercap has introduced a new precured tread SC 885 for the forklift tyre retread market.

The forklifts widely used in internal operations of logistics warehouses and industries, demand high performance and operational safety, and the SC 885 Precured Tread prioritises efficiency for handling loads at the best cost/benefit, says the company. The new precured tread allows for fast movement of loads, with high levels of safety and excellent operational ergonomics. The tread is produced with an extra-premium compound aimed at running with less heat for the better preservation of the casing. Available in 6 widths, and in tread depths of 18 and 20 mm, the company’s line caters for the main tyre sizes used in the segment. Silvercap Treads are supplied in the right tyre size and are ready for application, avoiding waste.
