Turkey’s Recap Makina continues to rapidly serve the tyre retreading sector with its wide range of products and advanced technologies. Recap Makina manufactures buffing machines, tread building machines, autoclaves, and auxiliary equipment used in the retreading of TBR and OTR tyres, and has been increasing its contributions to the retreading sector since its establishment.
New OTR Orbitread Retreading Machine
To date, projects have included the production of CNC-controlled, fully automatic buffing machines, cushion gum extruder building machines, and autoclaves. Machine installations have been carried out in Portugal, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, the UK, and Kyrgyzstan, with these machines being used for the retreading of TBR and OTR tyres.
Most recently, the product range has been enhanced with OTR Orbitread Retreading machines, which have been supplied to a tyre retreading company based in Turkey. With the RC350 Combi model, the machine provides functions of peeling, buffing, extruder building, and regrooving for tyres up to 35” tyre size. The RC350 Combi, with its robust design and advanced software, stands out as the most practical solution for OTR Orbitread retreading. Its main advantage is that the Orbitread retreading method, with relatively lower investment cost, faster production, and requiring less stock of rubber compared to other methods, is widely accepted in the Turkish market.
In addition to the RC350 Combi machine, a 2,600 mm diameter direct steam-heated autoclave has also been manufactured, completing the system. Recap Makina is an expert manufacturer in autoclave production with CE and ASME certification.
Recap Makina is capable of producing machines used in the precured system retreading of truck tyres, as well as machines ranging from 25” to 63” used in OTR Orbitread and precured system retreading.
