Aiming to strengthen ties with one of its main African partners, Vipal Europe recently promoted relationship meetings with its partner NAS Tyre Services Ltd, in Tanzania.

Vipal Team Visits Key African Retreader

Around 350 people, including owners, managers, operational employees, and the commercial team of the main fleets in Tanzania, had the opportunity to meet and learn about the long-standing partnership between Vipal and NAS Tyre Services. Events were held at the Serena Hotel and Hyatt Regency in Dar Es Salaam, and at Arusha hotel, Four Points by Sheraton in Arusha. In the meetings, Vipal took the opportunity to promote a brief technical lecture to the customers present.

Working in partnership with Vipal for over 15 years, NAS Tyre Services is the leader in tyre retreading solutions in Tanzania offering retreading services for commercial vehicles. The company has an average production of around 30,000 retread tyres per year in three manufacturing plants located in the cities of Dar Es Salaam, Arusha and Mwanza.

Among the participants were Vipal’s commercial representative, Leonardo Müller, and tyre retreading technician, Alberto Paradinas. For NAS Tyre Services the company’s Managing Director, Amin Lakhani, Director, Prakash Shenoy, Marketing Manager, Sakina Shabbir Manji, as well as Deputy General Manager, Pankaj Chauhan and Retail Sales Manager Satyam Sharma were present.

“Events like this enrich and strengthen the partnership with our end customers, and we are very satisfied with the partnership and support given by our supplier Vipal in the recent years,” said Prakash Shenoy. Leonardo Müller added that Vipal and NAS Tyre Services have a mutual feeling about the importance of working closely with end customers. “In the past 20 years, Vipal have developed and built some successful business partnerships in the African continent. For me it is a great pleasure to be back in the African market after being away for almost 10 years,” he concluded.
