Bandvulc Launches New Website

Bandvulc, a UK manufacturer of retread tyres for commercial vehicles has unveiled a new website. The new website has been created as a mobile-first tyre information portal, providing technicians with easy to view detailed, technical information about each Bandvulc retread tyre whilst giving customers an overview of tyres by application type, to aid tyre choice.

The new site includes animated regroove specifications to guide technicians on the correct regroove specifications along with an intuitive tyre search and updated imagery. The technical additions are supported with a fresh look and feel, with company information and customer testimonials.

Bandvulc is owned by Continental Tyre Group Ltd. and produces both the Bandvulc and ContiRe range of high-quality commercial vehicle retreads. With its own research and development laboratory and rubber mixing expertise situated at its site in Ivybridge, Devon, the company are able to engineer their tyres to meet the specific needs of UK truck operators. Bandvulc retread tyres are used across a wide range of sectors, including retail, heavy haulage, construction and refuse collection fleets.

The website categorises tyres by usage type, with energy saving, construction, bus, waste or long-haul tyres all clearly grouped, before drilling down into the technical specifications of each tyre, with tyres also listed by brand name.

Tracey Mortimer, Marketing Director at Continental Tyres UK, says, “Bandvulc’s strength lies in its ability to provide its customers with the perfect high-quality retread to suit their application, and so we’re pleased the new website reflects this bespoke approach with a refreshed look and feel. The new site not only shows customers the breadth of the Bandvulc range but will allow technicians to access detailed information on each tyre, even while mobile.”
