Michelin Reifenwerke in Germany has announced that from mid-September, it will be expanding its REMIX 2 range to include the sizes 315/70 R 22.5 / 315/80 R 22.5 of the MICHELIN X Multi series. These include the profiles X Multi D, X® Multi HD D and X Multi Grip D with a total of 54 possible variations for versatile use.
New Sizes Introduced
Tyres retreaded using the MICHELIN REMIX 2 process are claimed to reduce costs per kilometre by up to 33 percent. This is made possible by retreading twice and recutting three times. This allows the mileage of the tyres to be increased by up to 375 percent compared to tyres that are not retreaded and recut (100 percent). The REMIX 2 tyres follow the same quality standards as new MICHELIN tyres in terms of control, traction and grip.
